Travelled down south this morning to visit my Dad as he is recovering from an operation last weekend. The traffic was dreadful on the M6/M5, but that didn’t dampen spirits as it was a gloriously hot day. All was sound upon arrival as we chatted over lunch.
Ali & I popped into town as my Dad needed a power kip. Ali went shopping while I took some photos along the river side in Worcester. Cafes were in full flow and so was the Morris dancing (kids were getting soaked in the adjacent fountains just added to the mix). After a stroll down towards the cathedral I bumped into a fellow student, Michael, from Hong Kong, who took genuine interest in my photography. During a long exposure infrared shot, he proudly showed me his Olympus OM-D. And what a lovely camera it is! It gave me second thoughts as I am in the process of getting a new one myself as my Pentax K-m is still broken (I am still borrowing using my Dad’s Canon). We talked all things photography, cameras & I introduced him to Blipfoto, as you do. Exchanged details and hopefully we’ll see another Blipper soon.
Headed back for an awesome pasta dinner from Ali and beer watching England lose to Wales in the rugby world cup. Not good.
Back at home, Tuttle Jnr had a great day at a science fair at cubs and lost a tooth. The tooth fairy will be called out no doubt.
