Collapse

I did not have time today with the various duties looking after relatives to get any closer to Cockenzie for the collapse of the power station's twin towers. See blips of 12 September and 19 July. They have been part of the landscape for decades.

I joined crowds on Blackford Hill for a vantage point. We could see people and families all around looking out for the explosion.

We were 11 miles away as the crow flies so my compact camera was on full zoom. The weather was a bit hazy but we got a clear view of the towers bending towards each other then crumpling in a cloud of dust.
