We Now Have 4 Very Happy Ladies...

What a day....it started seven months ago with 56 teams from across the North of England and today the final 15 were battling it out for the top 3 spots and the chance to compete in the National Finals.

Today Johnny and I had our warm up test in the early morning and our final test mid afternoon with the prize giving in the evening.

So after a day of...
74 trailer miles
2 dressage tests
60 competitors
12 hours
6 bacon butties (not each)
3 packets of Polos
2 boot polishing sessions
1 lost schooling whip
1 pair of lost wellies (that were found on the feet of the person who had lost them)
22 plaits
4 nervous ladies
4 superb grooms
4 amazing horses
Team talks, pep talks and "pull yourself together" talks.

How did we do....
We came 5th...we are so pleased with that result (we expected 6th or 7th) and everyone did a cracking job. K & Bugsy put in a PB, I got 5% more than I got yesterday and this morning and the other two put in great scores..the slightest disappointment was that we missed out on 4th place by 0.024%...but all in all we now have 4 very happy ladies......

And I nearly forgot...1 bottle of Champagne
