The Explorers at Blanket Bay

These proud scouts have just completed their Explorer level hike for scouts.
They carried in their own shelter and food for a 22km overnight hike and are justifiably proud of themselves.
Where we finished had a magnificent beach, and given half a chance, they would have stayed to play on the beach. Hunger and the need for lunch persuaded them to jump in the car and head home.
My aches, pains and massive blisters are slowly easing!
