An iron man gains remote digital friends

Wanted to capture the iron man staring out into Kimmeridge Bay. A wonderful spot for surfing - if you are brave enough!

He cuts a lonely figure and in some ways disappointed me. Although a sculpture, his make up of iron is supplemented with a tin can effect, which makes him appear chunky and more like a flower pot man.

He is only at Kimmeridge for a short time and unlike the Banksy DismalLand, seems to have generated little interest. When we were there no one appeared to know about him which was sad. I spoke to tourists telling them about the sculpture & other related work.

Iron man then featured in tourist photos which will travel to Australia, Japan and Manchester. Photography supplementing word of mouth.........
