Simply Marvellous!

We'v had a wonderful Saturday in the Big Smoke which started with a long lie on a rather comfortable bed, followed by a wander around Borough Market and then a walk along the South Bank towards Westminster. The sun was shining, people were making soap bubbles and children were squeeling with delight. At one point S was shat on by a bird from a great height and even that was funny because we decided it must have been a pterodactyl that had squeezed through a wormhole. Good luck or what?!

The highlight of the day was meeting Pokeybagel and Emmala for lunch. What delightful company! We spent the afternoon together chatting, laughing, strolling and marvelling. Emmala gave me a gift that sparks much joy - thank you dear E. We could have talked all night...

Afterwards S went for a haircut and beard trim at a full-on hipster hangout - what great service! S was very well looked after and I got to sit in the spare barber's chair and took pictures whilst sipping on a single malt. I love my hairdresser but I've never been offered a whisky before. We would like to thank Ryan for his tender loving care and are pleased to hear he's moving to Glasgow shortly to House Martin Barbers.
