On the sraight and narrow....

Over cast,but not raining so bit the bullet and started cutting barley this afternoon. It is coming in at between 20-20.7 % moisture. Usually it needs to be dried down to below16% to store,but we also have a 100 ton  wet grain bin so it is getting put straight into it. This is air tight and once full and sealed,the grain breaths out CO2 which preserves it during storage.
Little Miss had a busy day too,playing hockey in the morning,then I dropped her off at the local annual charity duck race. We didn't win the £100 prize though.
A very noisy house tonight when I got in as Mrs F was hosting the pot luck supper for all her pals.Seems a good time was had by all,and I managed to sample some of the left over food!
