OUTBACK AUSTRALIA ... Back When... #47

... although I have tagged this in my "Back When series"  it was another top day out with our friends from Perth. We ventured up to Glenbrook in the Blue Mountains to enjoy a wonderful lunch at the 2773 Cafe.

After a wonderful meal and a couple of drinks on a cool day, one must find that important "outlet" prior setting off home!!!

To my enjoyment, found some old pics hanging on the wall from "back when" around Glenbrook, and this one shows the building of the tunnel for the main line. How they did this back then without the aid of the sort of equipment available today, makes you just look in awe.
