Ohau 2

Up in tiem for a fab sunrise, then breakfast and photo editing, and up the hill.

Lots of snow on the road, so chains (on my 4WD) it was. And of course, the usual drama to remember how to put them on, it's about once a year I have to, and once a year I go thru the same performance. If you'd like a sense of the road you have to drive up, look at yesterdays for the opposing view.

Arrived up at the ski area with no dramas, and as I was working, took time to take photos, talk to staff, and then of course get a few runs in. back for lunch, more discussion on happenings for the season, and at 1.30, time to head home.

Good timing tho, the weather was starting to close in and the wind rise. Then a fab drive home, again, lots of good photos as the weather started to close in.

And nice to be home ...
