So which is uglier, pylons, wind turbines, or solar panels? The owner of this land makes more money from this method of capturing sunshine than he ever did with the method involving grapes, fermentation, and hard work. In fact the grapes nearby were shrivelling as no-one had bothered to tend to them.

It was such a lovely day that we decided to go out for a little drive. We went to Talairan (blip), then back via Lagrasse where we stopped for a drink on the promenade. 

At home, we spent quite a while trying to figure out from the Photographer's Ephemeris when and where to photograph the lunar eclipse, even going so far as to go out with S's GPS to check. Setting the alarm for 4 a.m. is required ... Before that, I'm off to my book group to talk about Middlemarch.
