Alcock Tarn

Alcock tarn lies high above Grasmere.

Hardly a cloud in the sky all day long!

A 3 hour walk from Grasmere, including a stop at the tarn for our picnic lunch...Can you spot Ros and Chloe in the main photo?

There are extensive views too:-including Windermere, Grasmere, Langdale Pikes, Crinkle Crags and Bowfell.
