American Square Dancing...

at the foot of the Eiffel Tower in Paris!

A pleasant surprise to find this group of square dancers in the park of Champ de Mars.  Many from Germany, from the south of France (Nice has 3 clubs!), one couple came from Brussels, and a club outside of Paris..  All really enjoying themselves!

Today was "Paris with No Cars" - many areas closed to cars and some to all traffic.  The result was that there was very very little traffic anywhere in Paris and because it was a bright, sunny "Indian Summer" day, there were many many people outside, on bikes, on foot, wandering in the many parks, enjoying the many expos...  Wonderful!
