Through the arch

What a day!  We tried so hard to find or create a special picture for our special Blipday but nothing seemed to inspire us and we couldn't produce what we considered a decent image between us!  Just of those days that we all have from time to time.  This was a beautiful floral display in Crickhowell where the bridge over the river has a different number of arches on each side.  From there we went to Ebbw Vale and the Owl and Birds of Prey sanctuary and on the way back to the campsite we stopped in Abergavenny.  Guess what?  They had the flags out .. .. .. .. and  although I'm sure they weren't displayed for us I couldn't resist a little play with some of them  (see extra).
Thank you again for staying with us despite our lack of commenting.  We can hardly believe that we have reached 1000 consecutive images and know that without your continued and invaluable support we would probably have given up long ago.  Your encouragement spurs us on, but we love dipping into your pictures and journals and thank you for allowing us the privilege!
