Combine Harvester

18.0C with lots of sunny sunshine. Light breeze.

Grocery shopping this morning then home.

Before lunch Apothecary7 and I took Maeve the Deerhound for a walk. We saw the farmer from Craigmill farm travelling along behind an old combine harvester, towing its blade system on a  trailer with his tractor up the road by the side of our house. We went up to the church then continued out along the country road to Scryne.

When we reached Craigmill farm I noticed the combine harvester had been parked in a field, the tractor and trailer alongside with the blade system still on board. The combine operator was working around the blades. The farmer was nearby talking with a younger man.

We turned right at Craigmill farm and went down the track to the shore road. We came back along the cycle path and round in a long loop, heading into Carnoustie then up the main road before turning along for home.
