Our neighbours in B/burn have two hyperactive dogs. Any time they see someone, they set up five minutes of hysterical barking.
It's tiresome.
A long drive this a.m., as usual. Quite a big pile of boxes waiting for us in the lab, too (some more locally based diggers stay on on a Friday, after we leave for Edinburgh, and the boxes pile up....) The excavation is up to full speed, now. We designed the recording system to work like a production-line, and it sure is working.
