A grand day out

Took a wrong turn and ended up on a gated road near Menwith Hill. Very beautiful and because I was on gate duty the camera came out. Followed by a very unexciting lunch at a pub which has gone down hill having changed hands since we were last there.
And then....
The wonderful Harlow Carr. A proper Indian Summer day. Lots to chose from but I loved this planting in the white border.
