The Moon

The moon is in the news today but I am not sure I will be up to see the 'super moon' in the early hours and I don't really have a lens to it justice. I am sure there will be some excellent ones on blip tomorrow.

This was the moon, taken from home as it came up over the horizon at about 7.10pm this evening. (I have not added in any additional colour - It always looks a little orange when it first rises because we are viewing at an angle through a lot more of the earth's atmosphere).
