Solway Sunset

The last day of our holiday in Ireland, we caught the 1.30pm ferry back to Cairnryan, Scotland and made our way down to Carlisle to visit our good friend Marian (Marpaul) and Misty.
When we arrived Marian was pleased there was the makings of a sunset as she wanted us to see the sun setting over the Solway at Bowness.   We weren't disappointed, the colours and view were absolutely beautiful, we took lots of photographs and stayed there until the colour had all but faded.   
We then went back to a delicious supper and catch up and didn't realise just where the time had gone.   After travelling overnight we arrived back home at 5.00am and fell into bed for a few hours to catch up on some much needed sleep.
We had a wonderful time in Ireland, the weather was so kind to us again and it was great to catch up with Marian too.
I need to catch up with my blips over the coming week so will be posting two or three each day until I do.
