Heads down

Spent the weekend in the Cairngorms doing some walking with some old chums from school - and assorted others . Stayed at the very well appointed and comfortable Cairngorm Club hut at Invereye (Muir Cottage )  - one of my mates is a member . Spent today on Ben Bhreac a peaty lump of a Munro just above Derry Lodge with fantastic views of the bigger Cairngorms . Not a terribly strenuous day but some head down steeper sections as above. My wife is sporting the cheeky beret - not recommended headwear for a Munro . Came back down Glen Quoich with a lot of evidence of flood damage from last years floods which swept away many bridges in the area .
