Cairo Cats

Last morning here and had breakfast and a rounding up meeting with my colleague, packed and then went for a last wee walk round Zamelek. Very quiet with the Friday morning prayers. I spotted these cats enjoying the shade in a building entranceway. There were actually seven of them scattered around but this little one woke up and caught my attention. Street cats are such a part of Cairo life that I thought it an appeipriate parting shot for this trip.
PS They generally get looked after by residents of the building they adopt.
