In My World

Kirra

From Kirra Point Lookout you have quite an extensive range of views.

To the north, the coastline sweeps around the edge of the ocean, taking the eye as far as the tall buildings of Surfer's Paradise in Queensland.

Looking south, you will find Coolangatta Beach, extending along to Greenmount Beach and Greenmount Hill.

The western view is of the hilly streets around Coolangatta, showing various churches and buildings in the area.

All of these views will have to wait for another blip-day, as today I have been looking east, across the sparkling ocean, and down upon the road which sweeps around Kirra Beach.

Today's blip has been quite an achievement for me also, as I straightened the horizon using Picasa! For a not-particularly-techie-type like me, I'm pretty happy with the results!

Have a wonderful weekend. :)
