Step back in time

Is what we do here everyday, especially in the countryside. The farming methods have changed little over the centuries; buffalo are still used to plough the fields, seeds are hand sown, water is pumped from the canals to give life to those seeds and animals are walked from home to the land to graze daily.

This is one of my favourite places. I love the old mud brick pigeon house, the goats being herded by the ladies protecting their veiled faces from the sun. The only give away to which century it is in, are the electricity cables.
