First light

I didn't get to photograph the eclipsed moon , but I did get my first full moon shot!

I got up at 4:30am to have a look at the eclipse but the moon was so dark I could just see a small bright crescent. A photo would have missed the darker, eclipsed portion, I think.

It was very interesting to see, though. If I'd got up an hour earlier I could have had a better attempt at capturing the duller, redder moon.
