Brayford.

Today I decided to walk up to the Castle before it opened so I could photograph all the barons before the hordes arrived. Nice idea! I arrived at 9:15 AM, a full 45 minutes before opening time, to find a hive of activity with lawyers, jurors, paddywagons etc. coming and going already. It was like Picadilly Circus! 

The security guard at the gate said that a newspaper photographer had left empty handed last week for the same reason. He was no help however! Whenever there was a small window of opportunity he swanned in front of the gateway himself. I took a couple of shots but I was not remotely happy with them.

I ended up going into town and to the Brayford where I took this shot instead!
