A Turunc cat

I couldn't have two plus weeks of photographs in Turunc without blipping a shot of one of the many Turunc cats. The village is full of moggies, with many of them being looked after by volunteers. This fine specimen was sunning itself in the car park at our apartment just as we were heading for the airport on our way home after a superb holiday.

While we were in the air, our fourth grandchild was in the process of being born, a few weeks early by C-section. Suffice to say when we arrived in Aberdeen we were delighted and relieved to receive a long-awaited phone call from our son-in-law with the news that mum and baby were well! What a homecoming present!
