not a super moon

I was awake long before sunrise but far too late to see the lunar eclipse. When I looked out about 6 am the moon was hazy and, after talking myself into going for a walk, found that the nearer I got to the lake the less visible the super moon was. 

Perhaps I should have gone uphill for the moon but I’m happy with my blip of boats moored on a misty Windermere at first light. 

The mist cleared quickly and it's been another lovely blue sky day.

Much better viewed large. Wish I knew how to do the 'large' link ....... what I did on the old blip doesn't seem to work now.
