Ella and Her Petalla

Ella started holding her right rear leg up for very brief periods of time about a week ago. We took her to the vet on Saturday and they said that her patella was popping in and out and to go see a surgeon.  

We took her to the surgeon this afternoon and he said that this is very common in Yorkshire Terriers and that she will hopefully grow out of it so no surgery for now.  If she worsens or gets a persistent limp, we will have to take her back for another evaluation.  

The only good thing about this is that she did stand long enough to get this portrait.  : ))
