BLAST.....

.....from the past.
This young lady (and her Dad) was the 13 year old who used to babysit for J 23 years ago. She lived at the end of the garden and we would pass him over the fence!!! She was is amazing and has just got an "easy" outstanding from Ofsted as a childminder. The inspector spent 4 hours with her in one day last week....pretty intense.

A funny tale.....when they moved in The Rev was working in Baghdad for 3 months at a time. On one visit they heard us arguing and then he returned to Baghdad. This happened again 3 months later (we didn't argue that much!!). By this time they had decided I was an abused wife and he was in prison for months at a time!!! Now they always ask "How's the prisoner?"!!!! M and I went round for lunch as I noticed their house was up for sale...but they are moving closer. So no excuse not to keep in touch.
