Work smart, not hard

Got a couple of gardens that need doing and the gate won't let the normal mower through.

We had three options, put in bigger gates, alter a gate panel, or buy another mower that fits through the existing narrow gates.

Option 3 it was.

Saw this come up on Craigslist a few days ago, but didn't bite. But it was still available, and the grass in one garden was still tall, so what the heck.

Now, this pristine mower is in fact 20 years old. Maybe 30. Who knows. Not sure it has a silencer on its exhaust, sure doesn't sound like it, but that's no problems as I've got no hearing left after Stelvio this year any way.

But it does work. Although working also looked like it was gouging out the grass as well. Today wasn't a good day to test what with all the rain. But tomorrow, we'll give it a go round one of the gardens it's intended for.

I actually reckon that despite being a 30" cutting deck, the mower weighs more than our bigger mower that has a 46" deck. Weighs substantially more.
