Bench Buddies

This morning we left the ship at San Cristobal to visit the interpretation centre -basically to pass the time till our flight to Quito. It told a bit about the history and economy of the Galapagos.

Here I am sharing a bench with one of the many sea lions which seem to wander about town.

On reaching Quito airport we had the one hour drive to the city and our hotel. We headed straight off out for some food and soon Danny and Melissa, a father and daughter from Australia joined us. We enjoyed the banter and bottles of wine, and a bit of chat about some of our fellow passengers. It has been a strange trip - I have backblipping to do tomorrow as I need to catch up a bit after having no wifi on the boat.
