bush babies

my school appointment was cancelled today so feettravelled and i took an extended lunch break and rode our bikes into the bush for a picnic.

it was magnificent! we found a road that we hadn't been on before which was vast and beautiful (apart from the pylons!).

we rode to the dag whats-his-name memorial which is a little museum on the crash sight where the UN secretary general was killed 50 years ago on his way back from the congo. we had a look around the museum, which took all of 3 minutes, then had a picnic on a great big ant hill overlooking the bush.
