Erica in a Patch of Light

My lovely god~daughter is in town for just one more week. We headed over to the V&A to see the Ballgown exhibition. We both found it just a little bit underwhelming.

Erica has grown up so much since her diagnosis back in September. She has managed her diabetes with an amazing amount of maturity and grace. At eleven she seems both so innocent and grown up. I felt so proud of her today.

We went hunting for a little bit of shadowy light.
