Me & My New Best Friend!

That said, Isla is so laid back that she is everybodys best friend.
We popped down to see Ali & Euan this afternoon. Poor wee Euan has a viral throat infection and has been uncharacteristically grizzly. However a trip to the doctor provided some useful paediatric analgesics and today he was much nore like his usual happy self.
We were, as ever, royally greeted by Isla who at one point put her front paws on Maggie's shoulders and looked her right in the eyes. Sadly she - Isla, that is -moved before I could get the camera out. Typical! Her next stop was my lap where she soon made herself comfortable.
As we were there the sky got darker and darker and the rain started with some big fat heavy drops. We then got the full thunder and lightning performance but the rain was not all that bad. Returning home later, we realised that we had missed the epicentre of the downpour. Some local roads were closed and the traffic was in chaos.
