Solace: Day 1

So good to be back on the narrowboat, Solace, again. We set off early even though we didn't know if repairs to the boat's starter motor would have been done. We imagined we may have to stay in the marina a while.

Just as we left the motorway a text came through saying the work was complete - hurrah!

So, a gentle cruise until we moored for the night 

A swan just typifies life on the canal!
