Magnetic Ted!

When we got home last night I wasn't feeling well at all and ended up in bed at 7-30p.m. I stayed there for 12 hours and I think it was migraine. I feel much better today.

This afternoon we went a walk round my walking circuit and as usual we noticed the cows facing the same direction while grazing. Researchers have explained why cattle will tend to face the same direction when grazing — a behaviour long known to herdsmen and hunters but previously attributed to either prevailing winds or the sun's position.
In fact, Reuters reports, they align their bodies along a north-south axis, suggesting the Earth's magnetic field is the "polarising factor".
