An Evening Treat

It was a beautiful day today but sadly I had to spend much of the afternoon in a meeting indoors. I was thankful for such beautiful skies when Dolly and I finally got to go for a walk just before the sun set. The fresh air felt great!  

This time of year even a warm day can turn quite chilly as soon as the sun goes down. Poor Dolly - she seems to feel the cold much more than she used to. I probably need to start our walks earlier in the day. Or she will need to start wearing her coat sooner than she has in the past.  She won't like that!
