Hotch potch
Had a tour round Turton Tower today, which started off in the early 15th century as a Peel tower and had bits and pieces added over hundreds of years to become a real mixture of medieval, Tudor, Stewart and Victorian architecture. It was also used as council offices in the 1940s until the early 1970s so there are municipal touches in places too. Oh and of course it's haunted.
