Oedemera Nobilis Take Off

I call them nobbies as my latin pronounciation leaves a lot to be desired.

It can be frustrating when insects fly off just as you poke your camera in their face. Sometimes, it's rather pretty.

I had set myself a challenge this year to photograph a wild snake. I suppose I did that today when I found a load of snake bones in the wood. Freaky. But I guess that's cheating my challenge?!
