Bit of a mouthful!

Autumn must be such a great time for the squirrels. The whole place is full of Chestnuts, Cob nuts (hazelnuts), and other goodies for them to stuff themselves and stock up for the winter.
Not sure if this squirrel was intending to eat this one or store it but the ground was covered in horse chestnuts on the walk to school this morning.
Not too sharp a photo but it's the only one I've taken all day today.

Our son, Daniel, has started cycling to work so if our daughter in law, Joanne, is at work in the mornings Lennon gets dropped off around 08:20 which is just enough time to walk to school for 08:50 with Jonty in tow. It's too much to expect Foxy to walk the whole hour there and back, he's only got little legs!
