Kingfisher

Normally I am standing on a bridge, and this iridescent streak of blue dashes up or down the river, too fast for me to get my camera out to try and get a shot.

Today, the kingfisher zooms up the river and stops. I manage to get a couple of shots from where I am. I try to get a better vantage point, but there are too many leaves in the way.
