Horror upon horror.

As I said in my blip for 29th Sept. the Redhead has lined up some work for me. The first job was to re-tile the hall and kitchen. All very well and good until I lifted the old tiles and discovered that there was virtually no floor beneath them. 70 years of decay had taken its toll.
A difficult enough job had become a nightmare. I almost succumbed to depression.
The rot was extensive as you can see from the extra pics.
There was nothing for it but to roll up the sleeves, order more materials from the builder's suppliers, and get on with it.
