DJ Awards

A full day...an exciting morning praying with Abby...a good time at language exchange/cana club...then on to the DJ Awards at Pacha to take pics for the newspaper. Fun to go to the Press Reception first, we went by boat (hence the blip of the Old Town from the water)...then later on to Pacha...got to take photos from the DJ booth as it was Graham Sahara playing, and he's a friend's husband ('extra'!). Was generally a good night until I suddenly felt awful, tried to get out and ended up passing out twice! First time on some stairs (am soooo sore & stiff today), then security (who thought i was on drugs) hauled me up and moved me, at which point I passed out again. I am SOOOO thankful I decided at the last minute, to NOT wear my little black dress. Anyway, fortunately my friend saw & as I came round I was vaguely aware of her telling security that I don't do drugs & hardly drink! They def have no sympathy if they think it's self-imposed. 
Anyway, disappointing to only photograph half the awards, but grateful Claire was about, plus a nurse!

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Claire's kindness, was so grateful to her for looking out for, and after, me.
2) Not passing out in the press pit.
3) The morning with Abby - always exciting to pray for and about Sa Penya.
