The Danish crown jewels

We popped along to Rosenborg Castle this morning. It is just near the hotel and houses the Danish Crown jewels.

It is fabulous castle and there are no restrictions on photography. I have never been to the Tower of London to see our lot but I'm guessing it is not easy to get as close as I did to these nor to get a picture of myself working out how to get that case open...

We fly back home tonight. It has been wonderful, wonderful Copenhagen for us apart from my now crippled, inexplicably with blisters, feet. 'Twas delightful to hear the army band playing the "wonderful, wonderful" tune outside the castle this morning.

Weather has been perfect as I believe it has in UK.
