Empty Beaches

I do not remember our beaches ever being this empty. When I paddled over to Playa Las Gatas there were only two of the dozen restaurants with any chairs out and this solitary person walking the beach. It might have something to do with the hurricane warning, which caused Alaska Airlines to cancel today's flight from Los Angles, or it might be that the businesses are taking a little rest before the hordes start arriving next month. Regardless, it certainly gives this much used section of sand a very different look.
