Not Dinard

Dinard was to be our destination for today and we had no trouble getting there. However, having arrived we couldn't find anywhere to park. We trailed around the streets, in the company of many other searching motorists, but there was nowhere to be found. There is a film festival there at the moment, and on one of our circuits we passed a hotel with red carpets outside, police and film crews everywhere and definitely no parking. Frustration boiled over with both navigator and driver very over stressed!
So we gave up and went a short way along the coast. We had another galette and then made our way on minor roads across country back to the hotel.
Having had no luck blipping all day I walked out to the serenity of the lake near our hotel with its view of the church in the village of La Poterie. Much better than Dinard!
Last night here tonight, home tomorrow.
