Season of contrasts

A very quick blip today.  I have spent the afternoon at hospital for a pre-op assessment for the cataract operation I will have in two weeks time.  Coming home I was struck by the contrast between the autumn colours of the trees against the beautiful blue sky with white fluffy clouds,. A warm, sunny and pleasant afternoon. Two seasons in one shot..
