Poppy

Now just seedheads, it is already autumn and we have to wait until rhese regenerate next spring. Nature's cycle is amazing. Just consider that one poppy seed, smaller and much lighter than a pin head, contains all the information and potential it needs to lie dormant, then wait until spring, take root and then grow into a beautiful, metre-tall flower. That fills me with wonder and amazement.
