A quick sunset walk along the Quayside...

...and I end up using this as my blip!

One of the reasons I wanted to do the evening Quayside route was to test out the higher end of the Canon 300D's ISO - especially since I flashed the BIOS with the "unofficial" patch. This allowed ISO to reach a giddy 3200 but to be honest it is not really usable. 1600 is not really usable on the 300D! Neither is 800 but you have to use something...

I did manage to take some half decently composed blips but by using the higher ISOs kind of ruined it with far too much noise in the picture. Although saying that, the noise could be converted to "film grain" - the thought does appeal to me...
