LESS THAN PERFECT
And I don't just mean the shot - the butterfly has lost a bit of a wing, though is still lovely and still aerobatic.
A red letter day for me. I saw the lovely cardiologist who thinks that maybe, just maybe, they'll leave me alone after just one more stress test. I thought I might get a row for naughtily refusing to take my meds, but she seemed to think I was just one step ahead of her thinking on the matter.
Driving (!!!) back from the hospital I chanced upon my son and heir walking to his class. He did not see me at first and it gladdened my old heart to see him smile as he strode along the road, carrying his drum for his evening drum session.
I caught up with admin and domestic stuff during a misty morning then spent most of the balmy afternoon in the garden, clearing out the bean bed (the broad beans are in glut so you won't want to be downwind of us for a while) and starting the mammoth task of planting 1,000 crocus bulbs in the lawn. Whose eyes were bigger than her belly when she saw that bargain bag of bulbs, eh? The Prof would say that I tend to take on too much, and in my more lucid moments I agree with him. Well, we can't all be perfect, eh?
