Fazil Say

Fazil Say, probably Turkey's biggest celebrity classical pianist (and composer), performed here in our theatre last night and again tonight on our rather lovely Yamaha grand.  His programme finished with "Pictures at an Exhibition" which was all that it should be.  Extraordinary.  I could hear his performance very easily even though I spent most of the time in the foyer in my 'Front of House Manager' role controlling entry for latecomers having let my team of student ushers (who did a fine job) in to the auditorium to watch and listen and be amazed.
